Santoku - multi-purpose knife
This all-purpose kitchen knife possesses three virtues and is ideal for all types of fish, meat, and vegetable preparation. The finely balanced, wide blade cuts effortlessly through vegetables, fish, or meat. The blade is made of exceptionally high-quality non-stainless (carbon) or stainless steel. It is ground very finely and thinly using the "Solingen thin grind" technique and finely polished by hand. This knife can be sharpened with a ceramic sharpening rod, a sharpening steel, or a whetstone. The handles are handcrafted, finely ground, polished, and oiled by master craftsmen.
