This cast iron plate has a ridged and a smooth side. The ridged side is for delicate, small dishes, while the smooth side is perfect for frying pancakes or eggs.

It's also ideal for sea bass cooked on the skin or trout in a herb crust. It's also great for sautéing vegetables or frying bacon.
