For caramelizing, browning, gratinating, and encrusting. Do it like the pros: Cover your creams or cakes with a crispy layer of caramel. With the hot, adjustable flame, the sprinkled sugar can be caramelized quickly and precisely, while the cream underneath remains cool. For safety, the burner is equipped with a child safety lock (the silver pin must be pulled to ignite the flame). The burner is delivered empty. For filling, use standard butane gas, the same gas used in lighters.
