The 18/10 stainless steel lid is designed to cover the spouts and retain moisture. When used without the lid, liquids can be quickly reduced to a delicious sauce thanks to the pan's wide, flat base. High sides and the depth of the pan provide protection against splashes and spills and make stirring easier. This durable pan is suitable for all stovetop types, including induction, and oven-safe up to 260°C.

Rinse your Le Creuset product with hot soapy water before first use; then rinse thoroughly and dry.
Lightly rub the inside of the non-stick surface with a cloth and vegetable oil. Then rinse the product with hot water and dry thoroughly.
DO NOT rub the black outer side panel with oil.
