Before first use
We hope you enjoy unpacking your new purchase! (Remove the stickers and packaging.)
Rinse your Le Creuset product with hot soapy water before first use; then rinse thoroughly and dry.
Protect yourself – always use oven gloves when handling hot objects.
When using in an oven with a broiler function, always keep a distance of at least 6.5 cm (2.5 inches) between the heat source and the top of your product.
If you only cover the top of the casserole dish in the microwave, leave the handles exposed. The handles can become hot after prolonged use.
Do not place frozen dishes in a preheated oven. Instead, place them in a cold oven, set the temperature, and let them heat up together. Always check that the food is piping hot throughout before serving. If you want to heat a casserole dish that is currently at room temperature, do not preheat the oven above 205°C (400°F). Adding liquid to a dish in the oven: Remove the casserole dish from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
cleaning
Let your product cool down before cleaning it.
Clean any residue from the bottom and sides of the product. If food residue is stuck, fill the product with warm soapy water and let it soak for 15 to 20 minutes before rinsing as usual.
Wash and dry by hand. Or put your stoneware in the dishwasher.
