Before first use

  • Remove all stickers and packaging materials.
  • Rinse your new caquelon with hot soapy water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it carefully.

Cook

  • Always use oven gloves when handling hot products.
  • Use kitchen utensils made of silicone, wood, or heat-resistant plastic.
  • Avoid using metal utensils and knives to protect the enamel.
  • Use a cooking surface of the appropriate size for even results – this is especially important with induction cookers.
  • Heat the caquelon slowly over medium to low heat for a perfect melting result.
  • Always lift the caquelon instead of sliding it across glass or ceramic surfaces.

  • Allow the fondue pot to cool completely before cleaning.
  • Soak leftover food in warm soapy water for 15-20 minutes, if necessary.
