Before first use
- Remove all stickers and packaging materials.
- Rinse your new caquelon with hot soapy water, rinse it thoroughly and dry it carefully.
Cook
- Always use oven gloves when handling hot products.
- Use kitchen utensils made of silicone, wood, or heat-resistant plastic.
- Avoid using metal utensils and knives to protect the enamel.
- Use a cooking surface of the appropriate size for even results – this is especially important with induction cookers.
- Heat the caquelon slowly over medium to low heat for a perfect melting result.
- Always lift the caquelon instead of sliding it across glass or ceramic surfaces.

- Allow the fondue pot to cool completely before cleaning.
- Soak leftover food in warm soapy water for 15-20 minutes, if necessary.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners or metal brushes.
- Dry the caquelon thoroughly after cleaning and store it in a dry place.
