The chef's knife is the European equivalent of the Asian Santoku knife. The blade is not as wide as the Santoku, but is sharper. It can be used for cutting vegetables and herbs, as well as for butchering fish and meat. The high-quality plastic handle fits comfortably in the hand and prevents dangerous slipping thanks to the non-slip plastic. The blade is made of a high-quality stainless steel alloy (55±2 HRC), which protects the knife particularly well against rust and corrosion. Due to the wide blade, the large chef's knife has a convex grind. This allows for easier handling and long-lasting sharpness. With the polished stainless steel blade and practical plastic handle, this knife is perfect for all traditionalists. To maintain the sharpness of the blade and protect the knife from damage, we recommend cleaning it by hand with detergent and hot water. Handle sharp knives with care. Not dishwasher safe.
