A. Our 30-year guarantee for your Le Creuset enamelled cast iron cookware (from the manufacturing date 1999)
Le Creuset prides itself on the expert craftsmanship of its products and provides the purchaser of enamelled cast iron cookware with a guarantee for the flawless workmanship and impeccable material quality of the product for its lifetime, but for a maximum period of 30 years, in accordance with the following provisions.
Warranty scope
The warranty covers the delivered Le Creuset enameled cast iron cookware (excluding accessories). The warranty is fulfilled by Le Creuset, at its discretion, replacing or repairing the defective goods or parts. Le Creuset will cover the costs of materials and labor. The consumer's statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
Warranty period
All warranty claims received within the warranty period by the retailer where the device was purchased or by our branch will be considered. All warranty claims expire no later than 30 years after the initial delivery, even if warranty services have already been provided.

If material or manufacturing defects appear in the goods within the warranty period, warranty claims must be made immediately, but no later than one month after receipt. Warranty claims can be accepted by the retailer who delivered the cookware and by the Le Creuset branch. The customer bears the costs and the risk of loss or damage during transport to or from the location that accepts the warranty claim or returns the repaired cookware.
Warranty claims will only be considered if a written complaint is submitted with the defective cooking appliance, clearly stating the claimant's name, address, and the nature of the complaint. If Le Creuset decides to replace the defective cooking appliance, Le Creuset is entitled to provide a comparable product if the same item is no longer manufactured. Procurement of a replacement in the original color cannot be guaranteed.
Exclusion of warranty
- Heat-resistant glass lids
- Single-layer products such as steamer inserts or other accessories
- if the dishes are damaged or destroyed due to force majeure or environmental influences.
- The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper handling, particularly use outside of normal household conditions, failure to follow the enclosed care and operating instructions, or improper maintenance. For commercial use, the warranty is limited to one year.
- if the cookware has been repaired by unauthorized persons.
- if the cookware shows any kind of mechanical damage.
Supplementary provisions
The foregoing provisions govern the legal relationship with Le Creuset in its entirety. Further claims, in particular for damages and losses of any kind arising from the product or its use, are excluded. The warranty applies only to the purchaser and is non-transferable. Warranty claims against the retailer as seller are excluded if and to the extent that Le Creuset has provided services under this warranty. The scope of this warranty is limited to the Federal Republic of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Le Creuset offers a lifetime warranty in all countries where the product is sold, provided it is permitted by law.

- A slight yellowing of the surface, which can occur due to heating, is harmless to Le Creuset 3-ply cookware and does not affect the performance of the products. Therefore, this is not covered by the warranty.

Warranty scope
The warranty covers the delivered stoneware product. The warranty is fulfilled by Le Creuset, at its discretion, replacing or repairing the defective goods or parts. Le Creuset will cover the costs of materials and labor. The consumer's statutory warranty rights remain unaffected.
