Cast iron grate insert
The solid cast iron insert creates first-class heat distribution—perfect for baking in a Dutch oven. Because the insert rests on three studs, you can steam, cook, and bake with the cast iron grate insert in the ft4.5, ft6, ft9, and ft12 Dutch ovens without burning. Thanks to the seasoned finish, you can use it immediately and don't need to season it.
