The retrofit kit can be easily installed in just a few steps instead of the standard side cooker and offers unlimited possibilities for preparing your grilled specialties.
Broil King 800 degree infrared side burner for retrofitting your gas grill
The special infrared grill technology, with thousands of evenly spaced pores, provides a particularly consistent and extremely high temperature. The gas burns on the surface of the ceramic body, causing it to literally glow.
This allows you to sear meat in just a few moments. The high temperatures caramelize the surface of the meat, creating a crust with particularly delicious roasted flavors.
In combination with the stainless steel grill grate of the infrared burner, you can also conjure up a great branding on your steak.
Infrared technology allows you to achieve more efficient gas consumption while still reaching a significantly higher grilling temperature than with conventional burner technologies. The infrared burner, combined with Broil King's high-performance burner system, is an ingenious addition to your Broil King gas grill.
Grilling with infrared radiation not only ensures delicious results through roasted aromas on the grilled food, but also produces significantly juicier results thanks to the short exposure time to the heat.
Of course, you can also use the infrared burner as a regular side burner. Be careful of the burner's high radiation output and avoid using it at the highest power level, as this could damage your cookware.
Installing the Broil King Infrared Side Burner
The infrared burner can be swapped for the existing side burner of the Baron, Regal or Imperial grill in just a few minutes.
After unscrewing the burner cap and disconnecting the gas supply and ignition cable, the side burner insert can simply be pushed out upwards and the new, precisely fitting infrared burner insert can be inserted.
Finally, the nozzle must be replaced with a click-lock using a 15mm wrench and the ignition cable must be plugged back on.
The burner cover of the original side burner also serves as a cover for the infrared burner.
Please note that a direct connection is only possible to the metal flexible hose.
For devices up to 2015 that still have a black rubber connection hose, this must be replaced with a metal flexible hose.
