KitchenAid Europa Inc., Nijverheidslaan 3, Box 5, 1853 Strombeek-Bever, Belgium ("Guarantor"), grants the end customer, who is also a consumer, a warranty subject to the following conditions. This warranty applies in addition to the statutory warranty rights to which the end customer is entitled against the seller of the product and does not limit these.
1) SCOPE OF THE WARRANTY AND WARRANTY CONDITIONS
a) The Guarantor grants the guarantee for the products referred to under 1.b) which a consumer has purchased from a dealer or a company of the KitchenAid Group within the countries of the European Economic Area, Moldova, Montenegro, Russia, Switzerland or Turkey.
b) The warranty period depends on the product and is as follows:

c) The warranty period begins on the date of purchase, i.e. the date on which a consumer purchased the product from a retailer or a company of the KitchenAid Group.
d) The guarantee relates to the absence of defects in the product.
e) Should a defect occur during the warranty period, the guarantor shall provide the consumer with the following services under this warranty, at the guarantor's discretion: repair of the defective product or product part, or replacement of the product or product part. If a product is no longer available, the guarantor is entitled to replace the product with one of equal or higher quality.
f) If the consumer wishes to make a claim under the guarantee, he must contact the country-specific KitchenAid customer service centers or directly the guarantor at KitchenAid Europa, Inc. The country-specific KitchenAid customer service centers can be requested by calling 00800 3810 4026. The guarantor or the KitchenAid customer service center will decide which guarantee service will be provided (replacement of the product or a product part or repair) and whether it is necessary to send in the product or product part.
g) The costs of repair, including replacement parts, and the postage for delivery of a defect-free product or product part shall be borne by the Warrantor. The Warrantor shall also bear the postage for returning the defective product or product part, provided that the return of the product or product part was requested by the Warrantor or the country-specific KitchenAid customer service center. However, the consumer must bear the costs of adequate shipping packaging for the product or product part.
h) The prerequisite for claiming the guarantee is the presentation of the receipt or invoice.

When claiming under the warranty, please enclose the purchase receipt and a detailed description of the fault with the defective device.
2) LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY
a) The warranty applies only to products used for private purposes. If the products are used for professional or commercial purposes, the warranty does not apply.
b) The warranty does not apply in case of normal wear and tear, improper or abusive use, failure to follow the instructions for use, use of the product with incorrect electrical voltage, installation and operation in violation of the applicable electrical regulations, use of force (e.g. blows).
c) The warranty does not apply if the product has been modified or altered, e.g. conversion from 120V devices to 220-240V devices.
d) Warranty services do not extend the warranty period, nor do they initiate a new warranty period. The warranty period for installed spare parts ends with the warranty period for the entire device.
e) Further or other claims, in particular claims for damages, are excluded unless liability is mandatory by law. After the warranty period has expired or for products not covered by the warranty, KitchenAid customer service centers are still available to the end customer for questions and information.
