Kai Shun – Tim Mälzer Minamo Santoku 18 cm

With the Tim Mälzer Minamo Santoku from Kai, you hold a knife that uniquely blends Japanese and European knife culture. The specially developed blade shape combines the classic santoku with the traditional European chef's knife, thus ensuring versatile use in the modern kitchen.

The blade is made of 32-layer stainless Damascus steel with an extremely hard VG-10 steel core. With a hardness of 60 (±1) HRC, the blade remains permanently sharp with proper care and is particularly corrosion-resistant. The fine Damascus grain with its vibrant appearance gives each knife a unique touch – each piece appears to be a unique, handcrafted piece.

The handle, made of fine black pakkawood, is oval-shaped, symmetrically crafted, and equally suitable for right- and left-handed users. The harmonious interplay of blade and handle underscores the high-quality craftsmanship and makes the Minamo Santoku a stylish and powerful tool for your kitchen.
