d) The guarantee relates to the absence of defects in the product.
e) Should a defect occur during the warranty period, the guarantor shall provide the consumer with the following services under this warranty, at the guarantor's discretion: repair of the defective product or product part, or replacement of the product or product part. 2) LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY
a) The warranty applies only to products used for private purposes. If the products are used for professional or commercial purposes, the warranty does not apply.
b) The warranty does not apply in case of normal wear and tear, improper or abusive use, failure to follow the instructions for use, use of the product with incorrect electrical voltage, installation and operation in violation of the applicable electrical regulations, use of force (e.g. blows).
c) The warranty does not apply if the product has been modified or altered, e.g. conversion from 120V devices to 220-240V devices.
d) Warranty services do not extend the warranty period, nor do they initiate a new warranty period. The warranty period for installed spare parts ends with the warranty period for the entire device.
e) Further or other claims, in particular claims for damages, are excluded unless liability is mandatory by law. After the warranty period has expired or for products not covered by the warranty, KitchenAid customer service centers are still available to the end customer for questions and information.
