OFYR Food Bumper 100
The cooking plates on OFYR cooking units slope slightly downward toward the center. As the cooking plates heat up, the center slopes slightly downward. As a result, foods like tomatoes, as well as very fatty foods, can roll or slide into the center of the cooking plate and fall into the fire. To prevent this, the OFYR Food Bumper was developed. The raised steel edge stops the food, but still allows you to scrape the cooking plate clean with a spatula and push the scrapings under the edge into the fire.
