The Kai Shun all-purpose knife was specially developed for precise slicing, peeling, cleaning, and garnishing of fruit and vegetables. Its compact shape and light weight allow you to make fine, controlled cuts—ideal for decorative work and everyday use in the kitchen.
The blade is made of 32 layers of high-quality, stainless Damascus steel with an extremely hard VG MAX steel core. Thanks to the double-edged grind and manual honing, the knife glides effortlessly through a wide variety of foods – for cuts with the utmost precision. The convex grind also ensures exceptional sharpness and durability of the cutting edge.
Weighing just 79 g, this utility knife is pleasantly light in the hand. The ergonomic handle made of premium pakkawood is moisture-resistant, durable, and a real eye-catcher. The perfect balance between blade and handle allows for fatigue-free work – even during extended use.

Rinse the knife with lukewarm water immediately after use and dry it thoroughly with a soft cotton cloth. It is not dishwasher safe. To preserve the wooden handle, occasionally treat it with a vegetable oil such as linseed oil or coconut oil.
