The Kai Shun paring knife is a versatile all-rounder for your kitchen. With its 9 cm blade, it's ideal for peeling, slicing, cleaning, and garnishing fruit and vegetables. It's also extremely useful for preparing meat—for example, trimming fat and tendons or lard. Its compact shape and light weight ensure maximum control for delicate cutting tasks.
The double-edged blade is made of 32 layers of stainless Damascus steel with an extremely hard VG MAX core. With a hardness of 61 ±1 HRC and a convex grind, it offers excellent edge retention and precision. Manual honing gives the knife an unparalleled sharpness that glides effortlessly through even the most demanding cuts.
The ergonomically shaped handle made of premium Pakka wood is comfortable to hold, moisture-resistant, and durable. The balanced ratio between blade and handle ensures fatigue-free work and a secure feeling with every cutting movement.

Care instructions
Clean the knife immediately after use with lukewarm water and dry it thoroughly with a soft cotton cloth. It is not dishwasher safe. Occasionally treat the wooden handle with a vegetable oil such as linseed oil or coconut oil to help extend its lifespan.
