Product description

Kai Shun Small Santoku 14 cm – Japanese all-purpose knife in premium quality

The Kai Shun small Santoku is a traditional Japanese all-purpose knife for the highest demands. The term "Santoku" stands for the three virtues of fish, meat, and vegetables – and this knife is perfect for precisely these cutting tasks. With its extremely sharp blade, you can effortlessly slice through a wide variety of foods, even the most demanding ingredients.

The 14 cm long blade is made of 32 layers of stainless Damascus steel with an extremely hard VG MAX steel core. Thanks to the double-edged grind and hand-honed finish, the knife offers unparalleled sharpness and precise cutting performance. Weighing just 140 g, it sits comfortably light and balanced in the hand – ideal for fatigue-free work.

The handle, made of fine pakkawood, perfectly rounds off the high-quality design. It's robust, moisture-resistant, and ergonomically shaped – especially for right-handed users. The wide blade allows for easy picking up and immediate processing of the cut product – perfect for everyday kitchen work.
